License Terms
All music released by Kanade Coda is protected by copyright and is licensed, not sold. Using any Kanade Coda track constitutes acceptance of the applicable terms below.
Free — Personal Listening
Stream and download for personal, non-commercial use only. Redistribution, resale, or use in publicly published content is not permitted under this tier.
Creator — Content Use
Licensed for use in non-commercial YouTube videos, podcasts, and social media content. Required attribution format: Music by [Artist Name] / Kanade Coda — kanade-coda.pages.dev. Commercial monetization of content using Creator tier tracks requires a Commercial license. Use in content promoting violence, illegal activity, or discriminatory speech is prohibited.
Commercial — Sync and Broadcast
Individual sync license required for use in advertising, film, television, games, and other commercial productions. No commercial use is permitted without a signed license agreement. Contact us before use.
Kanade Coda reserves the right to update these terms with 30 days' notice. Existing licenses granted under prior terms are not retroactively affected.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the music truly AI-generated?
Yes. Every track is generated using AI tools with human oversight for quality and appropriateness. Full tool disclosure is available in our AI Transparency Log.
Can I use the music in YouTube videos?
For non-monetized personal content, use is free with attribution. For monetized YouTube channels, contact us for a Creator license — designed for independent creators.
Do I need to credit Kanade Coda?
For personal use, attribution is required. For commercial and Creator licenses, attribution terms are included in the license agreement.
What about copyright and AI ownership?
We retain copyright over all releases as the directing entity behind the AI generation. We disclose all AI tools used in our Transparency Log in accordance with EU AI Act 2026 guidelines.
